Jordan Remington is a member of the Quileute Tribe and better known as Seattle's Coast Salish drag queen, Hailey Tayathy. They are a textile artist and digital illustrator using Coast Salish and Formline styles. They have attended Hazel Pete Institute and Northwest Native Basketweaver Association gatherings to learn traditional weaving. Tayathy uses their queer Native experiences to inform their work through which they aim to bring healing to Indigenous communities and to reclaim Seattle as an Indigiqueer city.
